Join our growing firm as part of our Equity Research team as a part-time Equity Research Coordinator for our evening shift! This is your opportunity to work with a team that has a longstanding reputation for providing top-rated equity research, as noted by Greenwich Associates.  In this role, you will manage the publishing queue during the evening shift Monday through Thursday from 5:00pm-11:00pm, and Sunday from 7:00pm-11:00pm, in coordination with our Supervisory Analyst team. Duties are varied and are moderately complex and of a confidential nature. This is a very fast-paced position with last minute deadlines, requiring applicants to be flexible, think proactively, and prioritize job duties.  Excel skills are necessary for this position but can be learned on the job. This position is a Six (6) hour workday (except Sundays) but may require overtime during our peak times. This fast-paced environment is perfect for a high energy, detail oriented, organized professional who can succeed in an autonomous work environment from home.
 

As an Equity Research Coordinator, you will:

  • Reviews, edits, and updates research reports to confirm accurate grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, compliance regulations are met, crosschecking estimates, and overall protocol is followed. 

  • Understands how to troubleshoot and solve issues pertaining to our publishing platform and any issues with the above. This can include working in and updating various models, and creating and modifying notes

  • Serves as a point of contact for all analysts on our publishing platform and is expected to answer questions, provide support, and direction and guidance on compliance and regulatory protocols

  • Publishes and posts research reports to the appropriate parties – based on analyst specifications and compliance protocol.

  • Must work autonomously/independently/reliably from home - with a dependable internet connection.

  • Reviews and approves expense reports for analysts following expense guidelines.

  • Must be able to handle heavy workload for a number of Research Analysts simultaneously and prioritize assignments accordingly.

  • Coordinates and administers ad hoc and recurrent projects based on team need using appropriate applications and systems.  Autonomous project initiatives, relative to analyst needs, encouraged.

  • Able to navigate, update, and maintain various analytical projects and databases when called upon.

  • Works with support staff to complete various departmental initiatives, when called upon.

  • Ability to grow and develop role when called upon.

  • Work during the evening shift Monday through Thursday from 5:00pm-11:00pm, and Sunday from 7:00pm-11:00pm, in coordination with our Supervisory Analyst team.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 2-5 years of experience in the performance of complex administrative/office support functions.

  • Strong PC skills with demonstrated knowledge and application of word processing and spreadsheet packages; extremely proficient with Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills.

  • Professional and courteous, with a concern for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to effectively communicate with associates at all levels, both verbally and in writing. 

  • Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency -- ability to prioritize daily workflow to effectively organize tasks to achieve specific goals.

  • Ability to handle a large volume of administrative detail with accuracy and reliability.

  • Detail oriented - recognize errors in numbers, spelling, and punctuation.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment with only general supervision.
